Leo Joe Radandt
1963 - 2013
Leo
Joe Radandt,50,of Emmett passed away suddenly of a heart attack on
December 10th, 2013. Leo was born January 21st, 1963 to Jerry
& Hendrika (Ricky) Radandt in Ziest, Holland. He was raised on
Squaw Butte where he would venture out on horseback, and would hunt,
& fish. He attended school in Emmett. Throughout his life, he
was a
fierce competitor when it came to sports. He loved basketball,
football, horse racing, & anything else of that nature. He also
loved going to Kenny Keene fights, where he would yell out "Champ"!
He absolutely loved people! He also enjoyed his card playing
buddies! He went to work for TJT Inc. after he got out of school. He
then started his own business, Wholesale Tires & Axles. He
married
Tracy Strunk in 1994. He and Tracy had a daughter on August 13th, 1994
and they named her Julia Jane. He and Tracy later divorced. He raised
Julia in Emmett and attended all of her sports and events. She was his
life! He then was honored to have a grandson, Anthem born in 2011. Not
only did Leo have a love for his family & friends, he loved all
the
dogs that he trained & traveled with him. Leo was
proceeded
in death by his grandparents, Leo & Bessie Radandt. Great
grandparents, Joe & Clementine Radandt. Aunt, Joyce
Bishop. He
is survived by his parents, Jerry & Ricky Radandt, his sister
&
brother-in-law Valerie & Brian Wilson, his brother Jerry
Radandt
Jr., his daughter Julia Radandt, grandson, Anthem, & nephews,
Kiel
Wilson, Chris Wilson, Nick Radandt, Danny Radandt, & Jesse
Radandt.
A
celebration of his life will be held at Cold Mountain Creek in Emmett
on Saturday, December 21st, 2013 from 2:00-6:00 P.M. In lieu of
flowers, please donate to a memorial fund set up for Julia &
Anthem
at US Bank in Emmett. Arrangement made by the Potter Funeral Chapel
Emmett.
William
"Bill" "Willie" Dean Swindell
1962-2013
Bill was called home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday January 26,
2013.
Bill Swindell was born on June 13, 1962 in Emmett, Idaho. He was the
third son and the 6th of 7 children born to Clifford Leroy and Myrtle
Lorraine (Holman) Swindell.
All of Bill's educational years were spent in the Emmett school system.
He was a member of the EHS class of 1981. He later furthered his
education at the John McCarther Bible School in Pasadena, California.
His work career expanded over a variety of types of work. He worked in
the fruit businesses of the Emmett Valley, training and showing Arabian
horses with his Uncle Al, setting mobile homes with a friend for a
company in Nampa, Idaho, and as an appliance repair man in Boise. He
worked for Woodgrain Molding in Nampa, Idaho for many years. His final
job was with Northwest Building Systems as a roofer in Boise where he
settled down and made Boise, Idaho his home. He truly loved the work
that he did there.
His biggest love was for his gal Krissy and their cats. His cat PC
Rider got his name from riding on Bill's shoulders. He had many hobbies
and enjoyments. He loved to work on jigsaw puzzles and his Sudoku
puzzles. BBQing stakes was a joy to him. It did not matter what time of
year it was. He enjoyed get-togethers with family and friends. He had a
very caring heart for anyone the he met.
He is survived by his fiance Krissy Bartus of Boise, Idaho, his mother
Lorraine Swindell of Emmett, Idaho, two sisters Dottie Martin of
Caldwell, Idaho, Tina Feagans of Overton, Texas, three brothers Roy of
Emmett, Idaho, Bob of Boise, Idaho, and Matt (Deanna Lopez) of
Cederpines Park, California, Valerie Pope and his beloved
grandchildren, Tristin and Ariella of Meridian, Idaho. Krissy's parents
El and Paula Haroldsin of Eagle, Idaho. He is also survived by numerous
nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bill was preceded in death by his father Clifford and a sister Marlene
Ireland, his paternal grandparents Oliver Ted and Isla Geneva Swindell,
his maternal grandparents A H "Red" and Cora Holman and several aunts
and uncles.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday February 1st at 2:00
at Vineyard Boise, 4950 N Bradley St, Garden City. There will be a
viewing prior to that at 1:00. Interment will be at Dry Creek Cemetery.

Tena Walker-Martin
Tena Walker-Martin born and raised in Emmett ID. Passed away peacefully at her Boise home with her family by her side.
Tena was born November 14, 1962 as a downwinder, until cancer claimed her life on Friday, September 23, 2005.
She was a loving and caring wife, sister, aunt, grandma and friend.
Tena enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding and spending time with her family and friends. She was a great rider.
She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Walker.
She is survived by her sister, Carrie Jones, who was by her side throughout her illness; sons, Trinity and Heath Davis and Shawn and Kyle Smither; her husband, Jack Martin; Mother, Barbara Braun; niece and nephew; Krystal and Joe Jones. She had three grandchildren, Kyndle Davis, Kristopher Helzer and Christopher Stokes and a great nephew, Evan Jones.
Her strength and love for life was an inspiration to us all. She will be missed dearly.
Memorial will be at Cobblestone Park, October 1, 2005 at 1 p.m.

Notice William "Kevin" Johnson William "Kevin" Johnson, 41, of Emmett lost his long heroic battle with cancer on January 7, 2004. Kevin was born on May 19, 1962, in South Bend, IN to Ray and Marlene Johnson. The family moved to Emmett in 1973 where Kevin later graduated from high school. In 1982, he joined the Navy. Kevin served as an operations specialist aboard the USS Enterprise where he had the opportunity to see most of the world. Kevin met his future wife, Doris Perdomo, while stationed in San Francisco. After marrying in 1987, the couple moved to Florida. In 1991, Kevin was diagnosed with cancer. After successful treatment, the couple was asked to manage a facility in Miami that housed families of cancer patients. Wanting to give something back to the cause, the couple accepted. On August 2, 1995, the couple's only child, and the joy of their life, Nicholas O. Johnson was born. Kevin earned his associate's degree from the University of Miami in 2000. Kevin kept his amazing sense of humor throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and spending time with his family. He will be missed forever by all who knew him for the love and laughter he brought to each of us. Kevin is survived by his wife, Doris; his son, Nick; his mother and stepfather, Marlene and Jim Matthews of Emmett; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Shawn and John Stewart of Battle Ground, WA, Kelly and Kevin Larkin of Spokane, Erin Johnson of Boise; seven nieces; one nephew; and loving friends and family to numerous to name. A private service was held on January 8, 2004. Donations may be made to a trust fund for Nicholas O. Johnson at 7124 SW 114th Place #D, Miami, FL 33173. |
